Medicare & Retirement Planning
Made Simple

Free calculators and tools built by a licensed insurance agent to help you make smarter decisions about Medicare and retirement coverage options.

Our Mission
"Most people spend more time planning a vacation than planning their Medicare coverage. We built these tools to change that."

About This Site

MedicarePremiumCalculator.com is a free resource built by a licensed insurance agent based on Long Island, New York. Every tool on this site was created with one goal: to give people turning 65 — and those already on Medicare — the clear, honest information they need to make confident decisions.

Medicare is complicated. The rules change every year. IRMAA surcharges catch people off guard. Long-term care costs shock families who never planned for them. Social Security timing decisions get made without a full picture of the numbers. We built these tools because we saw these gaps every day working with real families.

Everything here is free. No email required. No account to create. No upsells hidden inside the calculators. Just honest tools that give you real answers.

Our Credentials

These tools are built and maintained by a licensed insurance agent with hands-on experience helping Medicare-eligible clients on Long Island navigate their coverage options. Licensed in multiple states for Life & Health Insurance and AHIP certified for Medicare.

How We Build & Update These Tools

Every calculator on this site is built using publicly available, official data — CMS premium and IRMAA bracket announcements, Social Security Administration benefit rules, and the Genworth/CareScout Cost of Care Survey for long-term care figures. We link to the original source at the bottom of each calculator so you can verify the numbers yourself rather than take our word for it.

When CMS or the Social Security Administration publishes updated figures — typically each November for the following year — we update the underlying numbers on this site to match. Each article and calculator lists a "last updated" date so you know exactly how current the information is.

We write every article and build every calculator ourselves, based on direct experience answering these exact questions for real clients. We don't syndicate or reprint content from other sites, and we don't accept payment from insurance carriers to favor one plan type or company over another in our educational content.

A Note on Our Tools

All calculators on this site use publicly available 2026 data from CMS, the Social Security Administration, and industry surveys. Results are estimates for educational purposes and should not be considered personalized financial or insurance advice. Every individual situation is different — we always recommend speaking with a licensed professional before making coverage decisions.
